Summers Night to a Vintage Circus

We worked very closely with the event planner as a team to create the overall look for this two-day event. On the first night, the cocktail hour theme was a splash of summer, brought to life through our custom-built floating garden high tops and sky service aerial bar, positioned under a canopy of parasols. As we guests moved to the dining room, they passed a Philadelphia historical bore sculpture in a custom lai, and then entered the room, which was done in a color-blocking system. The florals ran the length of each table in a single-selected color, and were topped off with a custom, designed and built 33” bulletproof-puzzle stand that made the tall florals look as if they were floating in the air, but never obstructing the clients’ view of each other.
On the second day, the cocktail room was transformed into a vintage circus. The floating cocktail tables were lowered to beanbag height and the floating garden centers were replaced with children’s games, like magnetic fishing. The sky bar flipped to hold three different apparatuses, and the performers dressed in one-of-a-kind, vintage-inspired costumes.  The room hosted a variety of games and workshops. Then, as the guests passed the bore, now wearing a flying custom red cape and fashionable top hat, the dining room opened to a different set-up as well. We used the bud vases from the night, before used to mix the colors, and added vintage toys and silhouettes as the centerpieces.
