PRODUCTION ASSISTANT:

7textures and the Ghostly Circus are hiring for a part-time production assistant with a ~6 month contract to support upcoming seasonal projects. 7textures is an artist agency that provides a variety of entertainment and design services for clients, the Ghostly Circus of CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia is site-specific fire and aerial theater that has recently grown into its own non-profit project. This role is to support the producers and creative directors to help maintain schedule flows and project details, and help coordinate a cast of artists.


 Recovering post-lockdown, we are planning through this 6 month period but are looking to hire someone awesome that is looking to grow with the company and responsibility. We are currently looking for approx 20 hours (mix of remote and on-site work) per month at $20/hr; there may be potential for additional hours as work comes in and extra commission/s for certain tasks.


Please be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Attention to details

  • Time management and ability to prioritize between a range of tasks

  • Experience with Google Suite, ability to learn/use Miro

  • Comfortable communication across phone, email, text, video chat, etc. A significant part of this is a people-facing role, you enjoy connecting with people and working as a team.

  • An inclusive, inviting, and collaborative attitude 


As a small and growing company there are many types of tasks to fulfill and the to-do lists evolve. A few examples of the work to expect are researching a wide range of subjects, communicating event needs with a growing production team, assisting with prop/costume inventories, and hopefully work more on-sites as we safely reopen. Some of our clients request vaccinated cast and crews and/or may require covid testing/screening for on-site work, we hope this is something you would feel comfortable participating in.
